    No matter what your age or ability, we strive to offer an exciting softball experience within our region of Counties Manukau. We encourage family participation with junior games Saturday mornings and senior games in the afternoon.  Located at various parks with the Counties Manukau area with our main ballpark situated at Prince Edward Park, Papakura.

    What is softball:The object of the game is to hit the ball to move runners around the bases and to score more runs than the opposition team. The fielding team will do everything in their power to prevent he runners from progressing and/or scoring. Younger grades hit off a tee, before moving to caches pitch followed by live pitching.

    U5 Tee-Ball 3 – 4 years oldFun tee-ball aimed at pre-schoolers encouraging participation and team work. The games are played 9 a side and for 1 hour.

    U7 & U9 Tee-Ball 5 - 8 years oldthis grade is an action packed fun game, while still hitting off the tee, team numbers remain the same, the ball is slightly larger games are 1 hour.

    Rookie Sox 9 – 10 years oldCoaches pitch, all children bat but field only 9 per inning, change side if 5 runs are scored. Probably the most exciting grade as games are action packed with close scores and all children involved in the game, Games are 1h 15m or 7 innings.

    Junior Softball 11-19 yearsFull on softball rules, using members of the team to pitch the ball.

    Under 13's:      11 and 12 yearsUnder 15's:      13 and 14 yearsUnder 17’s       15 and 16 years

    Senior SoftballWe have a Premier Mens grade, Premier Reserves, Division 1 and Division 2 (CMSA slowpitch) adult Men's softball.There is Premier Reserves, Division 1 & Division 2 (CMSA slowpitch) available for Women.  

    Our facilities:Prince Edward Park, Papakura is our home offering 2 skin and up to 6 grass diamonds. Our clubhouse is adjacent to diamond 2 and offers canteen facilities and a place to chill out after a hard game. We also use Mountfort Park Manurewa, Colin Lawrie Fields Pukekohe and a number of other Papakura based parks. Tables and umbrellas are set up overlooking the grass diamonds and this is a great place to relaxWhen we play:U5, U7, U9, U11, U15 grades: Saturday morningsU13 &U17 grades: Friday evenings​​​​​​​Senior and Premier: Saturday afternoons.
